Another early rise, but for a very important reason, today is the day we visit Nagasaki! Probably the furthest West we can go, but 100% worth it. We also had a few new transport options to try out too, including the Kyushu express and the cool street trams!

The Peace Park was so beautiful and gave this automatic feeling of calm. Although in a busy city, the park felt so quiet, the Japanese are incredible. We approached the fountain and paid our respects, then headed to the peace statue. What I didn't realise was some communist countries donated a memorial statue each to the Nagasaki Park. Countries such as Portugal, Brazil, The Netherlands, Germany and Cuba etc, however the UK didn't donate one, which was really surprising. I selected a few of my favourites as you can see lol. The ruins are from a prison which was close to the bomb, killing so many inmates from countries including Korea and China, I'm so glad they kept part of the walls as respect to them.

The temperature hit 28degrees so it was time to move along, we walked to the centre of where the bomb dropped, and a statue now stands, over 198,000 innocent people died.

The Atomic Bomb Museum was the most heart breaking. No photos were allowed to be taken here so I don't have much to share, but items included clothing, glass bottles which had melted and fused together, pictures of those who were hit, buildings destroyed, and stories from survivors. There was also a clock which was recovered, that had stopped working at the exact time the atomic bomb hit.

If I could recommend two places to visit most, it would be Hiroshima and Nagasaki for sure.

Oh and to add, Nagasaki Station has a Pokemon Pop-up Shop until November .. Hell Yeahhhhhh.
